These terms apply to the yearsail.com website and to the Yearsail app. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Using Yearsail

You may use Yearsail for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, use it to break the law, or try to disrupt the website or its sign-up form.

Your photos and content

Your photos, notes and stories are yours. Yearsail works on your own computer and does not claim any rights to your content. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you add, and for keeping your own backups of your original files.

Early access

Yearsail is new and still being improved. Features may change, and early versions may contain mistakes, for example in how dates, moments or people are suggested. Always keep your original photos. Yearsail is designed never to change them, but you remain responsible for your own backups.

Launch notifications

If you sign up on yearsail.com, you agree that we may email you about Yearsail. You can unsubscribe at any time. How we handle your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our materials

The Yearsail name, logo, website and app are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not give you any right to use them except to use Yearsail as described here.

No warranty

Yearsail and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Yearsail or this website. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use Yearsail after a change means you accept the updated terms.
